Balance ⚖️

Balance ⚖️

How to fit in running with a faster pace of life. ⏰

During the past year our lives have been dramatically different due to the pandemic. Our social lives have been minimised and many of us have been out of work or working from home. This has meant many of us have increased our daily exercise and many people have started running. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽

Are you worried about fitting it all in when life returns?

Here’s some of our tips to stay healthy, keep up the running and not get too run down:

1) Sleep 🛏 Make your sleep a priority. We need good quality sleep to function and operate at our best. It also allows us time to rest and recharge from the days activities 💤

2) Food 🍝🥗 To be more active you must fuel more. Keep it balanced. (check out our insta stories for some yummy meals!)

3) Plan. 📒 Plan your week ahead. Time management is important. And we highly recommend running schedules.

4) Prepare 👟 If you are getting up early for a run, lay out your clothes, shoes, watch etc so that minimal has to be done before heading out!

5) Running buddy 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️ we personally love to use our exercise time to catch up with friends. Some use running as alone time but we find if we organise a time to meet a friend on a run, we don’t bail on the run because that means letting someone down 🤣

A balanced life is a happy life 🙃
